John Meier was raised on a bustling Christmas tree Farm amidst the picturesque landscape of Southern Warren County, where he was raised alongside his two brothers and three sisters. From a young age, John learned the value of hard work, discipline, and the art of rolling with the punches as he and his siblings pitched in to help their parents run the family business. Whether it was wrangling runaway reindeer (okay, maybe just wayward cows) or untangling the inevitable snarls of Christmas lights, John's childhood was a crash course in resilience and resourcefulness.

But amidst the chaos and camaraderie of farm life, John discovered a love for entrepreneurship that would shape his future in ways he could never have imagined. From watching his parents navigate the highs and lows of running their own business, he learned the importance of being his own boss and carving out his own path in the world.

After graduating from Warren High School, John set his sights on higher education, enrolling at East Central College to pursue his academic aspirations, then he transferred to the University of Missouri St. Louis where John truly found his calling for business.

Armed with a knowledge in one hand and a head full of dreams in the other, John wasted no time in diving headfirst into the fast-paced world of real estate. In 1996, he landed a gig at Gundaker Realtors, a renowned local firm and under the mentorship of a seasoned branch manager, John soaked up knowledge like a sponge, learning the ins and outs of the industry.

But as his career flourished and his expertise grew, John began to feel the tug of something more—a desire to build something of his own, to leave his mark on the world in a way that only he could. And so, in 2001, armed with nothing but a dream and a healthy dose of determination, he took the plunge and co-founded Westplex Real Estate in his hometown of Warrenton.

Teaming up with one of the best land guys around, John set out to create a company that would not only meet the needs of their clients but exceed their wildest expectations. For John, entrepreneurship was more than just a career—it was a calling, a chance to make a difference in the lives of others while doing what he loved. Over the years, he has embraced the ever-changing landscape of the real estate market, adapting to new technologies and trends with the same ease and grace that he navigates the twists and turns of a winding country road.

Now, 28 years into his real estate journey, John finds himself living in Northern Warren County with his beautiful wife and two sons, surrounded by the people and places that have shaped him into the man he is today. Though his path has been anything but straight and narrow, he wouldn't have it any other way. As he looks back on his journey, John is filled with gratitude for the opportunities that ave e his way and the unwavering support of his family, friends, and community. As he continues to write the next chapter of his story, he does so with the same spirit of adventure and determination that has guided him every step of the way.
